Yesterday we saved a tree, OK maybe just a branch and went bumpster diving for a plywood base. Then have pulled an almost prefect piece of plywood for the job, an just prior to starting the adjustment phase (cut it down to size on the tablesaw). Rob handed me this pre-cut piece in the picture.

The little box to the left is used to re-program DCC controllers that are setting on the track via software on my notebook. With this new setup I can now set in my easy chair and watch the process take place. It also works if I set it up on the work bench.
