About to start the Mining site level. Tunnels all done.  Track layout in place.

More structures to come, Roundhouse for one.  If we get rain in July I may build it.  But more work on rolling stock and and switch controls is the first priority.

A little bit done on the track layout but most of the effort this month is on rolling stock and the conversion to DCC

Here’s the HILLSIDE Train Station

Running my Kato Heavy Mikado 4-8-4.  Everything in blue runs the big steam engine. Had to re-lay a number of corners for the Heavy not to derail.

So it turns out I had a short!  Only took a week to find that little oval at the bottom. Once corrected, ready to run some trains. Test continues with a couple of Steam engines. Had to re-lay some track,…
