A New look

New Train Posters and a backdrop

It may look like a small change but it took a lot of time. It was a serious case of mightaswellitus.

The new backdrop gives a real feel to the back of the layout.
However to make it work I had to raise the frame for the posters 2″s.

So STEP 1: you have to take the frame down.
well now that it’s off the wall you might as well change things.
So STEP 2: start a new poster hunt.
So STEP 3: frame needs some love.
well that means a refinish
So STEP 4: order new posters.
So STEP 5: new poster paper is of a heavier photo stock
well that means the frame is heavier, old hooks and wire upgraded
So STEP 6: install new hanger system on the frame
So STEP 7: finally install the new backdrop
which started all this
So STEP 8: re and re the posters
So STEP 9: Raise the hangers up 2″, and rehang the frame.

Once it’s all done, you finally recover from the mightaswellitus.
